Business Intelligence Strategy

Public sector.

The strategic department responsible for investments carried out by the public sector in Poland must monitor and control expenses in a very detailed way. A multi-module Business Intelligence platform together with a data warehouse is created to implement these goals. The construction of the solution took place many years ago and now some problems of both technical and business issues are being noticed, which bother the growing number of users.

BitPeak was asked to create a new strategy in the area of Business Intelligence along with a roadmap to implement the solution. As a part of the consulting project such solutions were realised:

• interviews with business users and IT support
• current solution analysis and identification of problems
• recommendation of a new data warehouse along with data migration approach in the field of modern architecture
• analysis in terms of their quality and accuracy
• technological recommendations
